The purpose of Accelerated Reader is to improve reading comprehension. Accelerated Reader is easy to use. The student selects and reads a book. The book may be selected from school, public, or home libraries. Then, the student takes a Reading Practice quiz at a school library computer.
Accelerated Reader computes the student’s score, adds the results into the database, and generates a report, which provides the student with immediate information on his or her performance. When looking for a book title beginning with the word “a” or “the” as in The Cat in the Hat, search under C rather than “the.” Select a letter below or search by keyword to view book title and information. - 4959 Books Listed |
